The Directors are responsible for the determination of the Company’s investment policy and have overall responsibility for the Company’s activities, including the review of investment activity and performance and the control and supervision of the Company’s service providers. Brief biographical details of the Directors are as follows:
Andrew Craig F.C.A., aged 62, is an experienced financial services professional having served as a partner in the audit division of PricewaterhouseCoopers’ (“PWC”) Dublin office for 29 years between 1988 and 2017. In his career with PWC, he advised many of Ireland’s largest public companies, both on an ongoing and transaction specific basis, including initial public offerings and other capital market transactions. Andrew is a Director and Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee of the Irish Cancer Society. Andrew holds a B.Comm from University College Dublin and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ireland.
Daniel Donovan, aged 52, has over 30 years’ senior level experience in finance and real estate. Prior to establishing his real estate consultancy business in 2012, Daniel worked in the investment banking sector with Chase Manhattan, BNP and Lehman Brothers, the latter of which he served as Head of European Derivatives and Government Bond Trading. Daniel was also previously the Chief Investment Officer of WestEnd Capital, an investment vehicle for Berkshire Hathaway, as well as being part of the founding group of FrontPoint Partners, where he was in charge of the firm’s fixed income funds before the firm was ultimately sold to Morgan Stanley in 2007 for over US$400 million. Daniel has been active in the UK and Irish real estate markets since 2012, and was engaged by York Capital to advise on its investments in the Irish industrial property market in 2015. He holds a BSc. from University College Cork, Ireland and a Masters in Finance from the London Business School.
William Redmond, aged 44, has over 20 years of experience working in the Irish and European property markets. William founded Core Asset Management in 2010 to act initially as the exclusive operating partner for Peakside Capital (formerly a European real estate unit of Bank of America Merrill Lynch prior to a management buy-out in 2010) for its investments in the Irish real estate market. Prior to founding Core Asset Management, William was the head of Property Investment in KBC Private Banking (Dublin) and previously worked in DTZ Sherry Fitzgerald, specialising in the industrial property market. William is a member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors and holds a degree in Property Economics from Trinity College, Dublin.
Michael Moriarty, aged 64, has experience in banking, corporate finance and property. Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1979, Michael spent more than 20 years in Bank of Ireland Group including roles as a director of IBI Corporate Finance and as Head of Private Banking. From 2003 to 2006 he led a specialist subsidiary of the Irish real estate firm Hamilton Osborne King focussing on property investments for private investors in the European market. From 2006 to 2010 he was a senior manager in the private client division of Goodbody, an Irish stockbroking and financial services firm. He joined the National Asset Management Agency (“NAMA”) in 2010 and served as head of asset recovery there from 2014 until his departure in June 2017. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University College Dublin (“UCD”) and a Diploma in Corporate Governance from the Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, UCD.
Paul Lynch, aged 51, served as the chief financial officer of Applegreen plc, a quoted petrol forecourt retailer in the Republic of Ireland and the United Kingdom, between 2014 and 2017. Mr Lynch qualified as a chartered accountant with Arthur Andersen in 1990, after which followed a wide-ranging career in corporate finance and senior management across a number of industry sectors. He was a director of Heiton Group plc for 7 years, from 2000 to 2007, initially as head of corporate development and subsequently as Managing Director of its Retail Division. Mr Lynch has served as chief executive of large scale businesses in the retail, manufacturing, waste management and facility services sectors and he has led and concluded over 20 M&A transactions across diverse industries and jurisdictions.
Diego Arroyo Ornelas
Diego Arroyo Ornelas, aged 30, is a Senior Vice President at York Capital. Prior to joining York Capital in 2013, Diego worked at Goldman Sachs’ Special Situations Group in London. Diego received a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Pennsylvania, graduating from the Huntsman Program in the Wharton School.

Louise McKenna, F.C.A., aged 49, has overall responsibility for the Company’s finance function and also serves as the Company Secretary. Louise will perform the role of Chief Financial Officer of the Company on an interim basis pending the appointment of a full time replacement. Following the appointment of a full time Chief Financial Officer, Louise will serve as the Finance Director of the Company and also continue to serve as Company Secretary. Prior to joining the Company, Louise held senior finance and risk positions with John Locke Investments, a French investment management and advisory firm. Prior to this, she also held senior financial and compliance roles in the investment firms Salix Capital and Appleton Capital. Louise is a Chartered Accountant, having qualified with Ernst & Young in London and holds a B.A. in Mathematical Science from Trinity College, Dublin.
Prior to joining the Company, Wolfgang Schnittger, aged 68, was the founder and managing director of Schnittger Property Management. Following the establishment of the business in 2006, he developed it into one of Ireland’s largest industrial property management companies, acting as agent to over 35 business parks, primarily located in the north Dublin region. Prior to founding Schnittger Property Management, Wolfgang was a senior lecturer in Financial Management and Accounting at the Quinn Business School, University College Dublin. A qualified chartered accountant, Mr. Schnittger was previously a partner in Touche Ross Chartered Accountants (now Deloitte). Mr. Schnittger is a Member of the Institute of Property & Facilities Management and is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Surveyors, Ireland.
